St. Georgen and Seregno share the points

In the first half, neither the home team nor “Jergina” were able to set any accents. The match was marked by many tactical fouls and missed shots, while scoring opportunities were scarce. Even in the opening minutes of the second half, both teams found it difficult to get into the game on the sodden pitch in Seregno.

After almost 20 minutes, the South Tyroleans finally had to miss a great opportunity. Peter Mair went for the goal alone after a pass from Hansjörg Mair, but was denied by the goalkeeper. With 15 minutes to go, the home team in particular put more and more pressure on, but goalie Pietersteiner managed to defuse the ball again and again and so the two teams split after 90 minutes with a goalless draw.

Coach Patrizio Morini had to call on the suspended Gabriel Brugger and Alex Ziviani as well as the injured Moritz Eisenstecken and Stefan Rabensteiner on Sunday.

Since Darfo Boario had to admit defeat to Lecco on Sunday, the Morini team still has a small glimmer of hope for a playout place. To do this, Harrasser and Co. would have to win the next two games and hope that their neighbors in the table, Darfo Boario (15th), Pro Sesto (16th), Mezzocorona (17th) and Trient (18th) all still have two lose remaining games.

The Pusterers still have the games against Aurora and Castellana ahead of them.
