Stefan Clementi, the newcomer of the year

Stefan Clementi is the discovery of the year. A year and a half ago he was still playing in the 1st amateur league with his parent club Voran Leifers, but now he has found a permanent place in Virtus coach Luca Lomi's plans and is one of the Serie D club's undisputed regular players.

“Personally, I am very happy with the season so far,” reveals the young footballer from Leifers and has already noticed the big difference to the top league, where he scored 14 goals for Eppan last year and thus paved the way for higher tasks. “You have to be absolutely concentrated from the first to the last second – because even the smallest mistake, the smallest gap in the structure, will punish you severely from your opponent.”

“We have to stick together” Clementi's goal, Virtus Bozen's goal is and remains staying in the league. “It will be crucial that the atmosphere in the team continues to be good. We have to train hard and try to increase confidence and determination.”

And the game on Sunday against Pro Patria? “It will definitely be a fight. Pro Patria played in the Lega Pro last year. It will be difficult, but of course we will do everything we can to get our points.” The club from Busto Arsizio is currently in midfield in eighth place in the table.
