Stegen wins the spectacular Bruneck city derby

In front of around 600 spectators, the two Bruneck teams exchanged blows, with the home team from Stegen retaining the upper hand 4-3 in the end. They were already 3-1 up before Bruneck's joker Philipp Bachlechner equalized with a brace. In the final phase, however, Philipp Piffrader secured Stegen's victory with a penalty.

FC St. Pauls acted much more calmly, defeating newly promoted Freienfeld 2-0 with two goals from Jonas Clementi. The Überetscher are still two points ahead of Partschins in the rankings.

FC Neumarkt also won 2-0 in the basement duel against Moos. SG Schlern, however, surprisingly tripped Latzfons Verdings. Leifers (3:2 in St. Andrä) and Salurn (1:0 in St. Leonhard) achieved an away win. The derby between Vahrn and Natz ended goalless.

Stegen wins the spectacular Bruneck city derby

On the 18th matchday of the national league, league leaders St. Pauls showed no weakness. However, two other clubs provided a spectacle on Sunday: local rivals ASV Stegen and SSV Bruneck.
