Stegen advances to second place in the table

On Saturday evening, an old football adage was once again confirmed in the national league: a game lasts 90 minutes. And not exactly 89, as Moos had to painfully discover. Because the Passeirers kept their shop closed for 89 minutes. But then came the penultimate minute of regular time, Unterhofer served Alex Niederkofler perfectly and he had no trouble putting the ball in the goal. On the contrary - he could even choose the corner.

Up until then the game had been evenly played, with slight advantages for the Puster hosts. In the first half, Simon Oberegger shot once over the Mooser goal, while after half an hour Lago shot a free kick directly at Mittermair's goal. However, he had no trouble. After the break, Alex Niederkofler headed a cross from Leo Brugger just wide of the goal. Then came the fateful 89th minute, which gave Stegen a valuable victory. Because thanks to the “threesome”, the Pusterers climbed to second place in the table, at least for 24 hours, level on points with leaders Bozner FC. Moos, which has 40 points, slipped to third place.
