Oberliga champions Virtus initially got off to a better start in Naturns. Striker Tamburà could have given Bolzano the lead after just 180 seconds, but his header missed the target. Six minutes later, the Senegalese player did better and slotted in to make it 1-0 after a failed shot from Naturns keeper Albrecht. Despite the deficit, the home team held on and equalized with a remarkable Schwienbacher hammer (28'). The 1:1 was also the score at halftime. Immediately after the break, Clementi put the Lomi team back in the lead, but just a few moments later Mair managed to equalize again after Bacher's pass. The last two goals of the evening came from the penalty spot: In the 69th minute, Speziale held his nerve from eleven meters before Aiello made the final score 3-3 with a quarter of an hour to go. For Virtus Bozen, the next friendly game is scheduled for Friday as part of summer preparation. In Meran, the fourth division team will face regional league champions Obermais.
