Alessandria Calcio defeated second division team Pro Vercelli 2-1 in the second round of the Tim Cup and thus secured their ticket to the third round of the cup. As was the case in the opening win against Altovicentino, the signee Manuel Fiwickeler was the decisive man on the pitch.
