Goalless draw at the “Lahn” - All goal scorers

Voppichler and Co. were unable to win any of the six games in the second half of the season before the match against Obermais. Most recently there were four defeats in a row against Eppan, Trento, Albiano and Tramin - and a total of no fewer than twelve goals conceded. The unexpected resignation of coach Markus Rieder, whose motives suggest disagreements within the club, provided additional fuel. His successor, the previous assistant coach Reinhard Niederkofler, was sometimes unable to turn things around. Nevertheless, “Teldra’s” point win against the second-best South Tyrolean club in the sixth league can be seen as at least a partial success.

Tramin seems to have got a taste for it, because after last week's 3-1 win against Ahrntal, the Unterlanders won again this time against Rovereto, a direct competitor for staying in the league. After 90 minutes the game ended 2-0 for Tramin.

Meanwhile, Brixen celebrated an impressive 2-0 away win against second-placed Mori Santo Stefano. Here Fiechter laid the foundation for later success with the 1-0 win in the first half. Meanwhile, Eppan indirectly provided South Tyrolean support in the relegation battle, in which the Überetscher team brought Rovereto to its knees 2-0.

The 22nd matchday of the Oberliga was played on Sunday. There was only one pure South Tyrolean derby between Obermais and Ahrntal, which ended 0-0.
