Tramin versus Obermais, duel between two “crisis clubs”

When people were talking about the coming season before the start of the championship, many experts considered Tramin and Obermais to be among the top clubs in the league. However, both have so far (largely) failed to provide proof that they are among the best teams in the regional league.

Tramin has recorded one win and one draw in the championship so far, which results in a points total of four points. Obermais has only been able to collect two points in the five games so far. Most recently, Rainer & Co. suffered a narrow 0-1 defeat against Salurn in the championship, while Tramin had to be content with a 3-3 draw in Mori. Now both teams want to start a new, more successful chapter and make these first five games forgotten.

The Obermaisers must have gained self-confidence in the cup, because there they put Eppan in their place with 3-0. But there was also a sense of achievement for Tramin, namely the 5-0 win against Plose.

Matthias Regele: “It will be very, very difficult in Naturns” A second South Tyrolean derby is scheduled for the sixth matchday. Naturns welcomes second-placed Plose. The Vinschgers are the draw kings of the league and would now like to finally celebrate their first “threesome”. Plose coach Matthias Regele also knows this, saying in an interview with SportNews at the beginning of the week: “Of course we go on the pitch to win. I'm not someone who thinks about a draw or even a defeat right from the start. Naturns has achieved four draws and is now eager to get its first win. That's why it will be very, very difficult for us. But we will do everything we can to get the next points credited to our account.”

Naturns goes into the match with the self-confidence of winning the cup against St. Martin in Passeier. Francesco Cosa scored a brace. Sanson also scored, and Grüner was there for the “Mortiner”. Plose, on the other hand, suffered a 0-5 defeat against Tramin.

A top game is likely to take place in Salurn, where the league leaders will receive the fifth Dro. There are also home games in Ahrntal (receiving Mori), Brixen (against Albiano) and St. Martin, which faces Comano. For Eppan, however, it goes to the penultimate table Albiano.
