Transfer splitter | Milan's Pistolero escapes to the Bundesliga

Bundesliga club Hertha BSC is continuing its transfer offensive. The Berliners bring in strikers Krzysztof Piatek from the traditional Italian club AC Milan. The capital club announced this on Thursday. This means Hertha is increasing its spending on new signings in this transfer period to an estimated 60 million euros.

The 24-year-old Polish international Piatek – who is called “Pistolero” in Italy because of his pistol celebrations – moved to Milan a year ago and is now reportedly coming for 23 million euros. He made 18 appearances in the current season, but the four-time goalscorer has not been in the squad for three games in the series. Also because the Milanese have signed a top star in his position with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Meanwhile, Milan have grabbed a talented player: Alexis Saelemaeker , 20-year-old midfielder, comes on loan from Anderlecht.

Tug of war for Emre Can Borussia Dortmund has, however, Paco Alcacer adopted. The Spanish striker is moving to Villareal. The German Bundesliga club did not provide any information about the transfer payment; around 25 million euros plus bonus payments were discussed. Alcacer, who recently played no role for coach Lucien Favre, initially moved from FC Barcelona to BVB on loan in August 2018 and was later signed permanently. He scored 37 goals in 23 Bundesliga games.

Dortmund could spend the fresh money quickly: BVB has the German national player Emre Can your turn. The midfielder, who was recently unhappy at Juventus, is said to be worth 30 million euros to Borussia.
