Tournament in Margreid: AFC Eppan declares war

Three games, three wins, seven goals scored and none received: AFC Eppan returned from the lower country with a show of force. After the preliminary round victories over Auer (1:0) and Neumarkt (3:0), the relegated team from the Oberliga also swept past hosts Weinstraße Süd in the final and was crowned tournament winner thanks to a 3-0 win. In the final, Nava and Parise got on the scoresheet with a brace.

Meanwhile, third place went to the 1st amateur league team Kaltern. The Überetscher demolished Auer 5-0 in the small final - Pürgstaller (2), Sanoll, Tommasini and an own goal ensured clear conditions.

Tramin, on the other hand, secured fifth place. The upper division team, which somewhat surprisingly came last in the group phase, narrowly had the upper hand against Neumarkt with a 1-0 win. Zauberfuß Alex Pfitscher scored the decisive goal.
