Extension until 2020? De Luca before the next career move

De Luca (born 1998) has been under contract with FC Torino for two and a half years now. The attacker, who trained at FC Südtirol, came to the Piedmontese youth sector via Inter Milan in the summer of 2014 and immediately made a name for himself there. In his first year, De Luca scored eleven times for Turin's A youth team as a loan player, so the Serie A club decided to sign the 18-year-old permanently.

In the 2015/16 season, De Luca continued with the Beretti where he left off in the A-youth team and shot his team to the national runner-up title with 24 goals. But that's not all: This summer, the Leifer native was promoted to the Primavera team - and De Luca can't be stopped there either: the physically robust striker scored nine goals in eleven games, despite not scoring his own goal in three games in the last three games On average, South Tyroleans arrive every 105 minutes. As a reward for his appearances in the Primavera team, De Luca was even allowed to sit on the substitutes' bench for FC Torino's first team twice in September.

Already on Mihajlovic's notepad Given his consistent performances, it is little surprise that De Luca continues to be the focus of Sinisa Mihajlovic, the coach of Turin's Serie A side. As the Turin sports newspaper “Tuttosport” now reports, the club management has been trying for a long time to extend De Lucas’ contract, which expires in 2018, by two years. The young South Tyrolean will initially continue to hunt for goals for the Primavera team and will slowly but surely be integrated into the first team.
