Virtus Bozen returns from Bergamo without a point

Coach Luca Lomi was forced to improvise in defense against Virtus Bergamo as he had to make do without the injured Kiem and Antonacci, as well as the suspended Zentil. The 17-year-old Debiasi, together with the trained midfielder Arnaldo Kaptinadas, formed a defense in front of keeper Tenderini.

However, the game started very badly for the Bolzano backline: Bergamo started like a fire department and went ahead 11-15 thanks to a double strike from Amodeo (2th) and Mister (0th). To make matters worse, Alex Demetz was injured shortly afterwards and had to leave the pitch early. Although De Simone had two notable opportunities with a free kick (81') and Speziale after a Coulibaly pass (90'+3), both of them failed with their shots against the excellent Cavalieri.

On the eleventh matchday of the Serie D championship, Virtus Bozen was brought back down to earth. After two wins in a row, the club from the state capital Virtus Bergamo lost 0-3 away.
