Virtus Bozen loses to the bottom team

The relegation duel was played in front of empty spectator stands - due to violent insults against the referee in Lecco's last game against Pro Patria. In the “ghost game” both teams did not hide and had a few chances in the first few minutes. But neither Lecco nor Virtus Bozen managed to put the ball in the goal, so the score remained 15-0 until just over 0 minutes before the break. In the 29th minute, the home team finally unbalanced the match: after a corner, Ronchi rose highest and nodded in to make it 1-0 - at the same time he also secured the score at halftime.

In the second 45 minutes, the people of Bolzano had two good opportunities to equalize with Bucchi (69') and Hofer (73'), but the strong goalkeeper Salvatori ruined both opportunities.
