Virtus against Obermais is the cracker of the 21st state league round

The state league championship enters its 21st round this weekend. Both at the top and in the bottom of the table, the teams are once again fighting for important points. Class leader St. Pauls is a guest at Nals. The newcomer from the Etschtal is currently in 13th place in the table and, after the 2-0 win against Virtus Don Bosco two weeks ago, would now like to trip up the leaders. The “Paulsner” also have three points in their sights, as they want to continue to keep their pursuers at a distance.

One of them, FC Bozen 96, is also away at the weekend. The Talferstadt team, who are currently seven points behind the leaders, are visiting Natz.

Virtus Don Bosco – Obermais at 18 p.m

In contrast to the other games (16 p.m.), the game in the Internorm Arena in Bolzano will only be played at 18 p.m. on Sunday. In the top game of the 21st round, Virtus Don Bosco and Obermais will fight for third place. Both teams are currently on the rise. Virtus Don Bosco took a point away from St. Pauls last Sunday, while Obermais celebrated a shooting festival against Bozner Boden (5-0 win).

“We want to do as well as possible in this championship. First place is out of the question, but anything beyond that is still possible. We have to start our race to catch up on Sunday. Obermais currently have three points more and with a win we could challenge them for third place in the table,” said Virtus coach Roberto Ceron. Weinstraße Süd would also have a chance for third place. The Unterlanders, like the Green-Whites, hold 37 points in the table and will be guests at the twelfth-placed Moos in the Passeier Valley at the weekend.

The players from FC Meran, who ended their losing streak since September 2th with a 1-15 win against Neugries last weekend, are now welcoming Stegen, while Bozner Boden cannot afford to make a mistake in the match against Pichl Gsies. The Sunday program is completed by the games Latsch against Neugries and Schlern against SC Passeier.

Virtus against Obermais is the cracker of the 21st state league round

The 21st matchday kicks off on Sunday in the highest amateur league in South Tyrol. The top game takes place at 18 p.m. when Virtus Don Bosco and Obermais will fight for third place in the table in the Internorm Arena in Bozen. All other games will be played as planned at 16 p.m.
