Virtus or Obermais: Who is the second cup finalist?

The final game of the semi-final group of three is tough: Both Virtus Don Bosco and FC Obermais warmed up for the final match with confident victories against Partschins and are now fighting in a direct duel for the remaining final ticket. Although both teams have three points in the standings, a favorite is quickly found. Virtus Don Bosco took second place in the Oberliga on Sunday with a 2-0 win against Lavis, while Obermais, one league lower, is also in third place, but has so far only met its own demands in phases.

The starting position is also a clear plus for the people of Talferstadt. They dispatched Partschins 8-0, while Obermais managed “only” six goals against their regional league rivals. A draw is enough for Virtus in the direct duel on Wednesday. However, excitement should still be guaranteed in the final semi-final match. The game on the Bolzano Talferwiesen starts at 20 p.m.

The outcome of the game between Virtus and Obermais will probably also arouse great interest in the Pustertal. The ASC St. Georgen has secured its ticket to the final in the duel with Salurn and is now eagerly awaiting its opponent. The final of the national cup will be played on December 6th, and a week later the South Tyrolean cup winner will face the one from Trentino.
