In their lawsuit, Boca's management cites a similar case from 2015. At that time, the River Plate delegation was sprayed with tear gas by Boca fans in the Bombonera Stadium after halftime in the players' tunnel and the game was then abandoned. CONMEBOL then scored the game for River Plate.
