Salurn is in a deep crisis – how do you assess the current situation? Of course we were a bit surprised because we didn't expect such a situation. But I have a lot of trust in my team.

What is the main problem of Salurn? We don't have one big problem, but rather a series of small "problems" that bother us. The team was completely reshuffled in the summer; the players are all very young and inexperienced. Of course, it takes a certain amount of time for the construct to work.

In the course of the season so far, it has not been uncommon for Salurn to take the lead, but then give up the game in the second half. Why is that? In fact, we took the lead in seven out of eleven games, but ultimately had to leave the field as losers. From my point of view, the problem here lies with the personality of the players: our team simply lacks the experience and toughness to deal with such situations, i.e. to get over the lead.

Your team is currently in second-to-last place in the table: Is your coaching chair shaking or has the club expressed its trust in you? The club management has given me their trust in the past and continues to do so. I can work calmly even in this situation, and of course I have to thank you for that. At the moment I don't see my position being questioned.

Will the team be strengthened in the winter months? Transfers in the winter market are never easy as most players are already settled with a team and have completed their agreements with clubs by the end of the season. But we will certainly try to fix some weak points with reinforcements. But for now I'm not thinking about which players will come and I'm concentrating on the remaining games.

Speaking of the remaining games: What does Salurn need to get out of this deep crisis? We have to try to overcome our defensive weaknesses and hope that the bit of luck that we have always lacked will soon spill over to us. So far we have been able to keep up with almost every opponent and have mostly lost by just one goal. I know from my own experience that it often only takes small things to bring about a turnaround.
