Zimsalabim & Piffrakadabra: Morktplotz spell on day 1

Group A Damn, what kind of gig was that? Gzim Gijnai from the Banana Girlan had as much pressure in the bowl in the first game of the 2018 edition of the Morktplotz tournament as a Munich tap on a well-attended Oktoberfest Saturday. What counts is the place - and here the team from the Sciliar area passed the group phase more easily than a Mercedes with Telepass equipment at the motorway barrier. In other words: 3 games, 3 wins, 9 points. That was a step too big even for defending champion Bääämfica Gargasohn. The team around the Nicoletti brothers took second place, while the Paulsner Sausalitos and the Val Gardena New Team have to go to the Europa League in 2010. New Team 2010 1 Group C A duel against the nimble and talented Flamongos around Daniel Gasser or Alex Demetz is in itself as entertaining as a visit to the dentist. When aspiring Serie D players like Thommy Piffrader wear pink, a visit to the dentist can quickly turn into a root canal treatment - at least that's our impression from the outside. The Flamongos in pink won the group.

Winning the group is somehow considered good form for the Flamongos. Even if the pink footballers had to tremble more than usual this year despite two Piffrader goals: The “ringen Teifl”, peppered with numerous young players from Milland, Latzfons and Brixen, ended up earning seven points just like the Flamongos, but they had that worse goal difference and had to make do with second place. Gelateria Mario and Sarner Läschtign only had third and fourth place left. The wrestling Teifl cut a good figure.
