Two South Tyroleans are promoted to the Lega Pro with Virtus Verona

Verona will be represented by three clubs in professional football next season. In addition to the two first division clubs Chievo and Hellas, Virtus Vecomp will be involved in the 2nd division in the future. The team, which is populated by numerous former FC Südtirol players, is promoted to paid football through a special application (“ripescaggio”).
