Twelve hours of pain: Vidal's new back tattoo

Munich (SID) A new tattoo has been adorning the back of Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal for over a week. The Chilean had to lie under the needle for up to twelve hours, his tattoo artist told the Bild newspaper. "I had the opportunity to finish his back. There were already tattoos there from other artists. It took me ten to twelve hours to create the new works of art, spread over several days," says Sergio, who lives in Valencia and spent a week with the artist “Warrior” stayed in Munich. Now almost Vidal's entire back is covered in tattoos, although tattoos are not safe for a footballer. "In my opinion, it is not advisable to get a tattoo at times when you are moving a lot. World champion Jerome Boateng also gets tattoos regularly and only has a few free spots on his body. He recently had the back of his neck and head decorated with a huge mandala. The Bayern stars do not have to obtain approval for their tattoos. But if an infection occurs, there is a risk of trouble like last May with ex-Frankfurt player Guillermo Varela. Shortly before the DFB Cup final, he had gotten a tattoo contrary to clear instructions, after which the skin became inflamed. The Uruguayan was immediately suspended by Eintracht.
