Regional tournament: A-youth and women are in the quarter-finals

The B youth team had to pack their bags after the preliminary round, but at least they managed their first win at the end of the group phase. Marco Meraner's team turned a 0-1 deficit into a 3-1 win against Molise. The goal scorers in the 3-2 win for South Tyrol's selection were Fabio Kryemadhi (Virtus Bozen), Noah Mayr (Bozner FC) and Martin Hysomemaj (St. Georgen). Women: Abruzzo – South Tyrol 1:2 South-Tirol: Paris, Zulian, Piger, Oberhuber, Messner (from 46. Battaglioli), Platzgummer (from 55. Benincasa), Nardelli, Prader (from 58. The women reached the quarter-finals as group winners by beating Abruzzo. The South Trojans fell behind after 28 minutes: a free kick from Berardi from a long distance fell straight into the goal. But in the second half the women turned the game against Abruzzo with a goal from Greta Oberhuber (Brixen) and a penalty from Valentina Alber (CF Südtirol).

In the quarter-finals the South Tyroleans will meet Campania.

The third and final group game day of the regional tournament in Fiuggi (Lazio) took place on Monday. Three wins and one draw: That was the successful record of the South Tyrolean teams.
