At the beginning of May, the football world was worried about Casillas, who suffered a heart attack during training with his club Porto. But the goalkeeper was lucky and soon gave up. Casillas was able to leave the hospital just a few days after the heart attack.

Always at the goalkeeper's side: his wife Sara Carbonero. She is now going through difficult times herself, as she wrote on Instagram. “When we still haven't recovered from the shock of Iker, fate struck again. This time it hit me. A few days ago I was diagnosed with an ovarian tumor and underwent surgery. “Fortunately, everything went well, but I still have a few months of treatment and fighting ahead of me,” said the 35-year-old combatively.

A couple since 2009 “I know everything will be okay. It will be a hard road, but thanks to the support of my family and the doctors, everything will end well,” Casilla’s wife wrote in the long Instagram post.

The Spanish TV beauty has been with Casillas since 2009, and their wedding followed in 2016. The couple has two children. Carbonero became famous at the 2010 World Cup when she was kissed by Casillas during an on-camera interview after Spain's final victory.
