There was a crazy scene in the Serie B game between Ascoli and Venezia on Saturday. Nikola Ninkovic, actually a key player for ex-FCS coach Paolo Zanetti at Ascoli, absolutely wants to take the penalty given, but is not allowed to. He is so angry that he has to be replaced immediately. In the end the two clubs split 1-1. Paolo Zanetti's team is in eighth place in the table after eleven match days, but is only two points behind second place.
