Gündogan “still grateful to play for this country”

The German national soccer player Ilkay Gündogan reacted with a good deal of humility to the whistles directed at him during the World Cup dress rehearsal against Saudi Arabia (2:1). The Manchester City professional tweeted on Saturday that he was “still grateful to play for this country.”
