The Eliminator on Sunday will certainly be exciting because it is a format that we rarely use,” explained Lanthaler in the winner’s interview.

In this elimination race in the knockout format, the expected showdown between Lambacher/Lambacher and Pigneter/Clara took place in the final. The newly crowned World Cup winners also flexed their muscles in the deciding run and achieved their second World Cup victory within two hours in 1.05,44:XNUMX minutes, ahead of Pigneter/Clara and Achenrainer/Brugger.

“This is our day. The material is right, and the fact that we were able to beat our winning time from the morning in the final in the afternoon is incredible. I think we will never forget this day,” said Matthias Lambacher happily. Lambacher/Lambacher lead the overall standings with 200 points, ahead of Pigneter/Clara (170 points) and Achenrainer/Brugger (140 points).
