Down-to-earth, likeable, and successful—that's how you can describe Evelin Lanthaler from Platt in the Hinterpasseier Valley. South Tyrol's best natural track luger of all time ended her fairytale career this season. She has won everything there is to win on both runners and is thus already a living legend. On Friday evening, the people of Passeier insisted on celebrating their luge queen once again.
