“I can still improve”

“Things went better in the semi-finals than in the qualification. But I can still improve. It will probably be close in the final, although the Chinese are the clear favorites and Jennifer Abel is perhaps a little better in shape than me and the Australians. Even though I'm more than satisfied with my performance at the World Championships here, I'll give it my all again in the final," the 30-year-old from Bolzano is quoted as saying on the Italian Swimming Association's website.

Cagnotto has already won World Cup bronze three times on the 3m board. From 2005 to 2009 she achieved a bronze hat trick in this discipline. It will be seen on Saturday evening whether we will be able to win the fourth precious metal in this discipline this year.
