Mountain Bike World Championships: Anna Oberparleiter 6th in the Eliminator

The first titles were awarded at the Mountain Bike World Championships in Hafjell, Norway on Tuesday afternoon. The Swiss Kathrin Stirnemann and the Belgian Fabrice Mels won gold in the spectacular Eliminator competition. Anna Oberparleiter from Olang came in an excellent sixth place, while Greta Seiwald from Gsies took 11th place. In the men's category, Maximilian Vieider from Bolzano was eliminated from the qualification.
