Sagan new road cycling world champion, 82. Manuel Quinziato

Peter Sagan is the new road cycling world champion. The 25-year-old Slovakian prevailed in front of several hundred thousand spectators in Richmond ahead of the Australian Michael Matthews and Ramunas Navardauskas from Lithuania. Manuel Quinziato from Bolzano, who had already become world champion in the team time trial, finished the race in 82nd place, 3.41 minutes behind the new world champion.
