Equestrian sport: Third day of racing in Meran

On the third day of racing, six flat and steeplechase races with a total of 52 horses from Italy, Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic are on the program in Untermais.

The focus of the program on April 28th is the hurdle race for the debutants' prize (for four-year-old and older horses, 3.300 meters, 26.000 euros). The starting field includes ten horses.

Trainer Raffaele Romano saddles three of them. Among them, Cirano with Gabriele Agus in the saddle and Modigliana with Ondreij Velek are likely to have the best chances, but Superius with Jaroslav Myska is also given a chance. Former champion trainer Paolo Favero saddles Yeeeaah, owned by the Ambruschitz family, with Jan Faltejsek climbing into his saddle.

Three horses from the Czech Republic are traveling from the Vana family training center. For the Aichner family racing team, Real Wild Child with Josef Bartos is one of the closest contenders for victory, while the duo from the racing team Tania - Vana, Keep And Love (Jan Kratochvil) and Scusasai (Oleg Ryzhak) arrive in the role of outsiders.

The breaks between races are filled with live musical performances. The Rennplatz restaurant is in operation from 12 p.m. Children have the opportunity to go pony riding. A tour of the racecourse will take place at 13.30:XNUMX p.m.

Information about the starters, results, photos and videos from the races can be found at www.ippodromomerano.it.
