With two defeats behind them (0-1 against Udinese and Inter), second-placed Juventus Turin went into the game against Hellas Verona on Saturday evening. Nothing other than a victory could be expected from the Bianconeri so that they did not completely lose sight of the leaders Inter in the fight for the league. In the end, however, the Turin team had to be content with a disappointing 2-2 equalizer.
Verona played at the beginning. The hosts started furiously and took a 11-1 lead through Michael Folorunsho in the 0th minute. The 26-year-old came to the ball on the edge of the penalty area and smashed it into the goal with a powerful shot to the left - much to the cheers of the home fans. Juventus were therefore on the verge of another setback after just a few minutes, but they came back with a converted penalty from Dusan Vlahovic and the 1-1 in the 28th minute. Nothing worked until half-time, while Max Allegri's men had not yet put in a confident performance.

Things continued accordingly in the second half. Once again it only took a few minutes for the cheers to ring out in the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi, this time thanks to Tijjani Noslin (52'), who placed the ball in the bottom right corner to give Verona a 2-1 lead. But once again Juventus came back quickly and made up for the deficit with Adrien Rabiot (55th) making it 2-2. Juventus tried everything until the end and failed, for example, to take the lead through Federico Chiesa, but the score remained 2-2. This means that things in Serie A could be over early.
