Derby in Naturns: Lots of fans, 2 dismissals, but no goals

In the Lower Vinschger derby between Naturns and Partschins, many spectators saw a competitive game. However, no goals were scored. Stegen, on the other hand, became the big winner of the round.

The Pusterers experienced a thrilling final phase at Vipo Trento: After goal scorer Patrick Bacher left the pitch with a red card, the Trentino team equalized to make it 2-2. In the 90th minute, Thomas Niederkofler scored the much-celebrated winning goal for Stegen to make it 3-2. This means that the Sullmann team is once again right in the middle of the fight to stay in the league. With Naturns (32 points), Partschins (30), Bozner FC, Stegen and Dro (all 29 points), five teams are still involved in the relegation battle, two of them will be relegated.

Meanwhile, Tramin returned to winning ways against Bozner FC after a whopping 7 games. Alex Pfitscher became the match winner with a brace in the 2-0 win. The table 2nd. St. Pauls played 1:1 at Comano. St. Georgen almost beat league leaders Lavis before former Virtus Bozen player Emil Grezzani made it 90-2 in the 2th minute. Martin Ciaghi, on the other hand, saved Obermais a point at Anaune (1:1).

Naturns awards derby victory

Naturns could have taken a big step towards staying in the league with a derby win. But the yellow-blues couldn't get past a 0-0 draw in the Lower Vinschger derby against Partschinser, who were weakened (Daniel Lanthaler and Michael Aiello were suspended). Partschins played in the majority for around half an hour in the second half after Naturns defender David Zischg was shown a yellow-red card after a tackle on the halfway line. But the red-blacks were unable to capitalize on their superiority in front of more than 900 spectators.

In the end, Naturns in particular will be annoyed. The home team repeatedly failed against the aluminum - like Kevin Nischler, for example, whose header hit the post in the 37th minute after a cross from Zischg. A little later, Matthias Bacher hit the crossbar after a cross from Pino Ruggiero. The score was restored with 10 minutes left after Alex Allegri knocked down an opponent during a throw-in and was shown red for it. In stoppage time, Bacher also hit the crossbar with a touchdown.

In the first round, Partschins was even stronger at the beginning. After half an hour Naturns got better and more dangerous. The second half was hard fought, but with few chances - especially from Partschins' perspective. In the table Naturns remains two points ahead of its local rivals.
