Bayern take the lead in the table

The defending champion and record champion won 3:2 (3:2) at Hertha BSC during national goalkeeper Manuel Neuer's comeback. With 28 points, Bayern are now two points ahead of 1. FC Union Berlin (26), who can improve again on Sunday against Bayer Leverkusen.

Borussia Dortmund moved into third place past SC Freiburg, which hosts 1. FC Köln on Sunday, thanks to a 3-0 (3-0) win in the Revierderby against VfL Bochum. RB Leipzig won 3-1 (1-0) at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on Saturday, Eintracht Frankfurt won 2-1 (1-1) at FC Augsburg. VfL Wolfsburg achieved another away win with a 3-0 (1-0) against 1. FSV Mainz 05.

There was a spectacle at times in the Berlin Olympic Stadium! Munich led 3-0 after Jamal Musiala's opening goal in the twelfth minute. Within less than 90 seconds, Eric-Maxim Chupo-Moting struck twice (37th and 39th). But in return, Dodi Lukebakio (40th) managed to score. Shortly before the break, the referee, based on video evidence, also decided on a foul penalty, which Davie Selke safely converted into Berlin's second goal. Two goals conceded in the first half – that's not how national goalkeeper Manuel Neuer imagined his comeback after seven games. After the break there were no more goals.

In Dortmund the Revierderby was decided quickly. At 17 years and 350 days, Youssoufa Moukoko took the lead and scored his tenth Bundesliga goal in the eighth minute. He is now the youngest professional to score so many goals, replacing Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz, who was 18 years and 145 days old when he scored his tenth goal. After Giovanni Reyna (2th) made it 0-12 with a penalty kick, teenager Moukoko added his eleventh goal (45th + 2).

In Mainz, the 1. FSV actually determined what was happening. But the guests from Wolfsburg scored the goal. Patrick Wimmer took the lead in the 33rd minute. With a flutter ball, Maximilian Arnold (70th) increased the score against the weakening Mainz team. Ridle Baku set the final point (84th) - but as a former Mainz player, he held back from celebrating. Thanks to the victory, the Lower Saxony team came within one point of the Rheinhessen in the table.
