Jude Belligham slammed his hand on the grass in anger and ripped away his tape. A few meters away, Schalke were enjoying their role as spoilsports for their arch-rivals in the championship race and even believed themselves to be “number one in the pot”. There was no doubt that the moral winner of the derby without a winner could be identified.
