Clarity after midnight: Kolo Muani Theater ends in Paris

The most spectacular twist in a turbulent transition period occurred in the middle of the night - and it involved Randal Kolo Muani. At 0.30:90 a.m., XNUMX minutes after the transfer deadline in France, Eintracht Frankfurt announced the star striker's move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Kolo Muani, who went on strike, gets his wish fulfilled and is allowed to play in the Champions League instead of the Conference League this season. According to Eintracht's announcement, Paris is transferring a transfer fee of 95 million euros for Kolo Muani, whose contract with the Hessians ran until 2027 and did not include an exit clause. The 24-year-old has received a five-year contract at PSG and will now storm alongside his national team colleagues Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé.

PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaïfi was happy to have made the prestige purchase after a lot of haggling. “We are delighted to welcome Randal Kolo Muani, a proud Parisian and Frenchman, to his city and his homeland. We worked incredibly hard to get this transfer over the finish line,” said Al-Khelaïfi.

Muani went on strike to Paris

Kolo Muani had held back for a long time in the summer before everything happened very quickly this week: interview at the club, strike and now the change. “It's great to be back where it all started. I can’t wait to play for these colors again,” said Kolo Muani. Kolo Muani had tried offensively to force the change with his strike. He also did not play in the playoff second leg in the Conference League against Levski Sofia (2-0). However, for a long time it looked as if he would not be successful, as Eintracht had initially broken off negotiations with Paris without reaching an agreement. Now Eintracht can still look forward to a record income.
