Pustertal's Badboy takes the next step

Last week it was announced that Christian Kasastul was leaving HC Pustertal. Now he has found a new club.

Last season, Christian Kasastul was one of the positive discoveries at HC Pustertal. It was all the more painful when his departure from the Wolves was announced a few days ago. The 27-year-old Norwegian wants to take the next step and play in a northern European league in the future. It is now clear who Kasastul will play for.

The defender, who was the baddest guy in the HCP squad with 75 penalty minutes, will play for KooKoo in the Finnish first league next season. The Finnish club finished 12th in the Liiga last season and narrowly missed the playoffs.

Asiago's coach is gone

There is further news from the ICE Hockey League. Asiago is looking for a new coach. Tom Barrasso will no longer be the coach of the Venetos next season. The former NHL goalkeeper made the step from the Alps Hockey League to the ICE with Asiago, but now it's over for him after two and a half years.
