The big DEL opportunity for Julius Ramoser

Julius Ramoser is one of the greatest ice hockey talents in South Tyrol. Now the Rittner is taking the next step in his career.

Julius Ramoser is moving to the Grizzlys Wolfsburg in the top German ice hockey league (DEL) with immediate effect. The 22-year-old is following in the footsteps of his cousin Joachim, who played over 100 DEL games before he had to end his career far too early due to injury two years ago.

His cousin, Julius, who is seven years younger, played for the Red Bull Juniors in the Alps Hockey League this year. Ramoser impressed there, especially in the playoffs with 12 scorer points. SportNews only got it a short time ago portrayed in more detail.

Return to Germany

For Ramoser it is a return to Germany. In his youth, the attacker played for the traditional club Adler Mannheim. The 1,85 meter man made his first professional appearances for the Heilbronner Falken in the DEL2 (51 games).

“Physically and in terms of running, Julius is already at a good level. We are convinced that with hard work and commitment he has a very good chance of earning a place in the team. We are of the opinion that his straightforward game will suit us very well,” explained Grizzlys sports director and managing director Karl-Heinz Fliegauf.
