Ladurner GP: Record participation in Brixen

After the successful start in Kaltern, the second Ladurner Grand Prix took place in Brixen at the weekend. Some young athletes were able to showcase themselves.

With more than 500 participants, the highest number since its inception was also recorded. Andrea Bassani even celebrated a triple victory for the U16 boys. The Bolzano talent from SAB won over 80 m as well as in the long jump and triple jump. His teammate Manuel Lorenzon achieved a one-two (high + ball). Jakob Niederfriniger from Vinschger also reached the top of the podium twice (300 m hurdles + discus). Among the girls, however, the athletes from SSV Bruneck shone once again. Like a week ago in Kaltern, Smeraldie Desamour completed a hat trick (80 m, 300 m hurdles, 4x100 m relay). 300 m runner Sophie Seehauser and discus thrower Maria Gogl achieved two victories in Vipiteno.

The U14 young talents were also able to showcase themselves in Brixen. Fabian Noah Nussbaumer's performance particularly stood out among the boys. The athlete from SV Lana won the 60 m sprint and the 60 m hurdles, and he and his team also won the 4x100 m relay. In the girls' competition, Hannah Amhof from SC Meran ran the 60 m hurdles in a good 10.22 seconds, and she was also in a class of her own in the 60 m sprint. Emma Frost (high, ball) from ASV Vipiteno also celebrated a double victory.

The third Ladurner GP will take place in just under a month, on May 25th, in Lana.
