Wild comeback rumors about Günther Steiner

Will Günther Steiner return to Formula 1? The South Tyrolean, who has been without a position since the winter after 10 years at Haas, is being discussed at Red Bull.

Specifically, it's about the Racing Bulls (formerly Alpha Tauri), Red Bull's second team in Formula 1. The online portal Autowebsport reports that Günther Steiner wants to take over shares in the Racing Bulls. The Merano native would no longer work as a team boss, but in a higher position in a team. But the matter has several catches.

According to the portal, Steiner is said to be looking for a Formula 1 team that wants to sell shares. Red Bull are apparently willing to do this - but not without conditions. The mother racing team wants to continue to benefit from its “protégé”. Steiner would have to accept a few things if he wanted to join the Racing Bulls. On the other hand, it is unclear whether Steiner is even interested in a position with the Bulls. After all, he really enjoyed his role as team boss. The 59-year-old South Tyrolean may wait until an offer comes his way as team boss of another racing team.

Steiner, who lives in Merano and the USA, is not currently unemployed. He is active as a TV expert and also promotes Formula 1 races in the USA.
