Target Competition scores important points in Oschersleben despite the accident

Just one week after the first racing weekend in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, the Target Competition team from Andrian started again in Oschersleben. Important points were collected – despite a mishap.

In qualifying, Marvin Klein (F) achieved a top position with P4, while the 18-year-old Senna Van Soelen (NL) achieved twelfth place. The first race on Saturday ended in disaster for title contender Marvin Klein. After he was able to gain one place with a furious start and was already in the fight for the top places, he was touched by Larry Ten Voorde, spun and was rammed by a following vehicle and thrown out of the promising race. The youngster Senna Van Soelen finished the race in eleventh place, but in the rookie classification in an excellent third place.

Things didn't go so well in qualifying for race number two. Marvin Klein came seventh, Van Soelen 17th. After Marvin Klein's badly damaged vehicle was made fit for racing again after many hours of work by the South Tyrolean team, he was able to start, also made up one place and was able to take home good points with sixth place take. Senna Von Sloeten showed a great performance, was able to gain a total of seven places and also finished the race in tenth place in the points and in an excellent second place in the rookie classification.
