The Kurhaus in Meran will be the venue for the Sporthilfe Gala 5 on April 2024th. The magnificent and historic building in the heart of Meran offers the right ambience for the awards of the Dolomites Sportsmen's Choice 2023.

Everyone interested in sports in the country is looking forward to the election of the athlete of the year. As part of the event, the team and the coach of the year, the two young athletes and the athlete with a heart will also be chosen. Exceptional athletes are also recognized for their life's work. Current and former South Tyrolean sports greats, officials and personalities from local business and politics are expected.

The focus of the event continues to be South Tyrol's sports aces, of whom the country has had a host for decades, in both summer and winter sports. Dominik Paris, Roland Fiwickeler & Co. are regular guests at the Sporthilfe Gala and will mingle with the party crowd as usual. The local top athletes are certainly available for a selfie and, with a little communication skills, can be involved in a nice chat.

“We are very much looking forward to this year’s Sporthilfe Gala in the Kurhaus in Meran, which will be broadcast live this year by RAI Südtirol. Many current and former South Tyrolean sports greats have announced their participation. This shows that the Sporthilfe Gala is still a fixed point in the calendar of sports greats,” says Giovanni Podini, President of South Tyrolean Sporthilfe.

Who are the Dolomites Athletes of the Year?

Admission to the Sporthilfe Gala is on Friday, April 5th from 18.00 p.m. Around half an hour later, the finalists of the athlete election will arrive on the promenade and be introduced to the audience before Sporthilfe President Giovanni Podini officially opens the evening at 20.15:XNUMX p.m. The undisputed highlight is the announcement of the Dolomites Sportsman of the Year. Before that, the best young athletes will be awarded the Ossi Pircher Prize and the special prize “Athletes with Heart by HGV” will be presented. Furthermore, the team and coach of the year as well as exceptional sports careers are chosen.

The Helly Catering team takes care of your physical well-being in the Kurhaus in Meran. The dinner will take place after the live broadcast. The music acts Since 11, Ladies in Dress, Martin Resch and DJ Patex provide the event with music. In addition, the magicians from Magic Live delight the guests with their magic show.
