Youth Italian Championships: Gold for Piccolin saddlers

Giorgia Piccolin and Miriam Sattler from the Tramin sports club won the junior doubles title at the Italian Youth Championships in Terni on Friday. In the final, the two South Tyroleans prevailed with 3-1 points against Bianca Bracco and Claudia Carassia from Genoa. Bronze went to Libertas Siena with Laura Galiano and Giada Ferri and Alto Sebino with Francesca Trotti and Michela Albertinelli, who were narrowly defeated by the new Italian champions 2-3 in the semi-finals.
