WTA New Haven: Knapp moves into the second qualifying round

Karin Knapp moved into the second qualifying round of the WTA tournament in New Haven ($690.000 in prize money) on Friday. The 26-year-old Luttacher defeated the Australian Anastasia Rodionova, five years her senior, number 121 in the world, 72:6, 2:6 in just 3 minutes of play.
