Ski World Cup 2023: About historical traces and the surrounding area

The Alpine Ski World Championships starting on Sunday in Courchevel-Méribel are an opportunity to take a look at the history of these two winter sports resorts in the context of France's skiing history. The two places are the most traditional within the “Trois Vallées”. The ski area, which has existed for more than four decades, advertises itself as the largest contiguous ski area in the world.
