Gut-Behrami: “It’s steep and difficult, that suits me!”

The women have completed their first race of the season. The race in Sölden was decided in a hundredth thriller between Lara Gut-Behrami and Federica Brignone. Read the voices of those involved here.

Lara Gut-Behrami won the women's giant slalom at the start of the Alpine Ski World Cup in Sölden. The Swiss won on Saturday on the Rettenbach Glacier thanks to the best time in the second round, two hundredths of a second ahead of the Italian Federica Brignone and thus secured her third Sölden victory. The Slovakian Petra Vlhova came third. Top star Mikaela Shiffrin didn't get past sixth place.
