Max Perathoner is the high flyer at the Junior World Championships.

Perathoner on cloud 7: “Dream comes true”

Max Perathoner was one of only two South Tyroleans who competed at the Junior World Championships in Chatel (France). However, the 21-year-old made big in the French Savoy, returning home with two gold medals and one bronze. The reward for this achievement is participation in the World Cup finals in Saalbach (Austria). The opponents are then: Marco Odermatt or Dominik Paris.

Max Perathoner is only the second South Tyrolean to win the gold medal in the Super-G at a Junior World Championships. Peter Fill succeeded in doing this in 2002. In an interview with s+, the Wolkensteiner, who was also at the top of the team combination, looks back on the last few days and at the same time looks ahead to the upcoming World Cup debut.
