3 South Tyrolean biathletes travel to the Junior World Championships

The Youth and Junior Biathlete World Championships will begin shortly in Otepää (Estonia). Three South Tyroleans will also be there.

In recent years, South Tyrol's biathletes have always won several medals in the junior championships. If you think of Rebecca Passler, Hannah Auchentaller or Linda Zingerle thinks. Zingerle is there again this year – in the junior category. The Antholzer is the only local athlete in the Azzurre field, which is completed by Martina Trabucchi, Sara and Ilaria Scattolo.

The men are with us Christoph Pircher and Felix Ratschiller two South Tyrolean juniors there. While Pircher is active in the IBU Cup (second highest racing class) this year, Ratschiller is still competing in the IBU Junior Cup. The other Azzurri at the Junior World Cup are Nicoló Betemps and Marco Barale. The title fights begin on Friday and last a total of 8 days.
