Dorothea Wierer is not only one of the best biathletes in the world, but thanks to her popularity she is also an important ambassador for her sport. The fact that this sport is reported on in major Italian sports newspapers and TV shows has mainly to do with Wierer. The 33-year-old was on the Rai show on Tuesday evening Cattelan is here tonight as a guest, which is one of the most popular and wide-reaching late night shows in Italy.

“I am 33 years old. Some biathletes stopped at 30, some at 35. I haven't decided what to do next. The Olympic Games on our own doorstep would of course be nice, but we're still two years away. We’ll see, first I’ll take a vacation,” says Wierer. In any case, the biathlon queen garnered a lot of sympathy with her TV appearance - and did a lot of advertising for her sport.
