Biathlon European Championships in Ridnaun: it’s starting

The 2011 Open Biathlon European Championships in Ridnaun were officially opened with a big celebration on Sunday evening. The ceremony was all about the history of the mountain village of Ridnaun. Men and women in traditional costumes and the performance of music bands from the surrounding area created a great atmosphere in the heavy snowfall.
