Emanuel Perathoner (born 2) has had an artificial knee joint for two years. The experienced Laion native is therefore authorized to compete in the snowboard Para World Cup. In the 1986/2022 season he only competed in 23 races and was already second overall.

The 2023/24 season that just ended, however, became a success story for Omar Visintin's former companion. Perathoner won 8 out of 10 competitions in the Para Snowboard World Cup.
